Fall Inspired look

Ok, so I love neutral based Fall time makeup, but looking outside, there is just so much COLOR to celebrate! Brown don't cut it. I decided to try a vibrant, yet still Autumnal color pallete and fresh, glowing finish to mimic the glorious rainy fall days I've been enjoying.

For the face, I used Olay Definity tinted moisturizer in fair/ light. I just applied it like a regular moisturizer, and it added some sheer color and balanced my complexion. I used Loreal true match concealer in neutral fair for under-eye circles and blemishes. (Being a pregnant new mother, I got a lot of both.) I added NYC Smooth Skin bronzer in Sunny to my temples for a glow subtle enough for even a pale chick like me. I love this stuff.

I lined my upper lash line and the outer third of my lower lash line (not water line) with Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in Teal, smudging gently for a natural look. It's a deep forest green color that makes me think of rain damp evergreen trees.

I applied the lightest color in Revlon colorstay 12 hour shadow's sultry smoke pallete from lashline to brow. It's a soft, rainy stratus cloud looking grey.

Then, I applied yaby pearlpaint eyeshadow in Goldbar from lashline to crease, mimicking autumn leaves. I also used that color to line the inner third of my bottom lash line.

For depth, I added the deep blue sky-like color from the sultry smoke pallete to the outer third of my lid and to my crease, blending it all carefully. I used the same shadow color to finish lining my bottom lash line. Don't forget to blend!

I finished it off with a coat of Maybelline Great lash mascara in black brown, like the bare wet branches on some of the early leaf dropping trees outside.

For my lips, I applied a coat of Rimmel lasting finish lipstick in my favorite shade: Drop of Sherry. There are some gorgeous bushes outside of my apartment that are the exact same color.

I encourage you, where ever you are, to step outside and be inspired by whatever's happening out there.
